This policy explains how bookings, cancellations, refunds, and date changes are handled at Beach View Accommodation.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only once the required payment or deposit has been received and confirmation has been sent to you.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM
Guests must check out on time to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guest.
Payment Terms
Payment requirements may vary depending on the season, booking platform, length of stay, and promotional offer.
Direct bookings may require:
- A deposit to secure the booking
- Full payment before arrival
- A refundable security/breakage deposit, where applicable

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email or WhatsApp.
Suggested structure:
- 14+ days before check-in: Full or partial refund, less any admin/banking fees.
- 7–13 days before check-in: 50% cancellation fee may apply.
- 0–6 days before check-in: No refund or limited refund may apply.
- No-show: Full booking amount may be charged.
- Early departure: No refund for unused nights unless otherwise agreed in writing.
South Africa’s CPA allows consumers to cancel advance bookings, but suppliers may charge a reasonable cancellation fee depending on timing and circumstances.
Date Changes
Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested in writing.
If the new dates fall within a higher-rate season, the guest may be required to pay the difference.
Peak Season Bookings
Peak season, school holiday, long weekend, and festive season bookings may have stricter payment and cancellation rules.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. Refund processing times may depend on the bank or payment provider.
